    Hi,

    I recently bought a 2003 Mongoose Rockadile LE for $580 (reduced from $780).
    I choose the LE since it has gusset and the price was good.

    Supposedly the new 2004 model LE Rockadile does not have the gusset (cutting price as well as cutting corners).

    Has anyone got any input on this bike ?
    Is it as good as the Giant bikes (similar price range).
    What components would need upgrading?
    Does gusset make a frame a lot stronger?
