If you're a blue collar worker you're at 30% greater risk than a white collar worker with the same risk factors.

Since we don't know what was controlled for and what was not, it is difficult to comment. It would also be important to know how the two groups were formed. For example, take a typical Sears store - were any in the groups, and, if so, which went where.
I believe higher socioeconomic class predicts better outcomes throughout a wide variety of illnesses.
