About a month and a half ago I got diagnosed with Molluscum Contagiosum (in the genital area). At first I had about 5 little bumps. Since first getting diagnosed, I have had five liquid nitrogen treatments (not very pleasant I might add). And since then, it seems like it has been getting much worse. I now have many more than I sarted with, and it is so frustrating. It even seems to be getting uncontrollable.
So I was just wondering if anyone has had this kind of trouble getting rid of these bumps, or has any helpful suggestions.
I have also been tested for all other STD's (including HIV) and seems like I'm a pretty healthy girl besides these annoying little bumps.

Molluscum typically go away on their own after an average of two years.
Treating them increases the chance that you will be left with permanent scars. However, unlike warts, molluscum can occasionally leave scars even if left alone.
Some dermatologists use canthrone instead of liquid nitrogen. You might want to look into this option.
