Anyone know much about the Miyata Alumitech frames? I am looking at an
early 90s frame set- 718a model- but can't find much info. Bonded
aluminum main triangle and steel rear and fork. Thanks for any info.

Last year I stumbled across a NOS mid-90's Raleigh Technium frame (construction
similar to Miyata Alumitech) for only $5 without a fork. I've built it up w/ a
steel Gios fork and ridden it a thousand miles or so. It is a tad heavier than
my other road bikes but is surprisingly stiff and rides/handles quite well. If
the Miyata is of similar quality and fits you well, I'd say consider it.Mike Yankee
