  1. Just went for my second ride of the year. It was great except for the stones and salt on the road. It snowed here 3 days ago. I did my route with all the hills. I have lost alot of ground since last year. Anyway, when I returned I was cleaning the salt off my bike and noticed that my second sprocket up front had teeth that were really worn down. It wasn't any two in a row. There would be five good ones and then a worn one, then three good ones and then another worn one, and so on. Why would this happen? My big and little sprocket are fine. I use them just as much as my middle one. Any one have any ideas. thank you. Its going to be a good week. My new bike comes this week!

  2. On the crank the some teeth are manufactured shorter than others which helps with the shifting between the chain rings. You can always take it to the bike shop, or just look at the teeth on a new bike and you will see what I mean.

  3. I thought this was going to be a hockey thread.
