  1. Okay, twice I tried this recipe from the bag of pecans:

1 lb bronw sugar 1 cup whipping cream 2 tbl light corn syrup

Combine sugar corn syrup and whipping cream in 8 cup measuring cup (okay didn't follow this I used a
big glass bowl) - microwave on high 13 min.

Then add 1 Tbl butter and 2 cups chopped pecans, beat until creamy, drop by teasponfuls on
    waxed paper.

So the first time I did this, I used filled two wax paper lined baking pans. The 2nd pan I filled
turned out, but the first ones stayed sticky and never turned that more creamy color. So I thought
maybe I didn't beat it enough, tried it a second time and the same result. The last half of the
batch turned out. First part didn't. KInd of expensive to screw up half a recipe here. Any
    suggestions what I did wrong?

Please don't yell at me for using the microwave - I don't like to make candy that involves
thermometers and dropping candy into ice water. I have a hard enough time nuking it.
