Microfarms at Rose Tree Park

It's that time again. Not the warmest start for the farmers but some are
out getting an early start.

Each large plot is usually divided into four microfarms unless someone
wants a larger one.
The plots are sold each season at auction with the proceeds going to the
schools in the area.
It's hard work. The county plowed under last years growth and dumped off a
few tons of peat moss and mulch.
There is no running water so you have to bring it from home. You also have
to assemble your own containment fences if you want to keep the rabbits out
(which is hard to do in any case).
Before long, from this viewpoint, the front row microfarms will block the
rest of the view. Still it's fun to walk around. I'll take pictures
periodically so you can see it rise.
