Barry mentions in the interview that Savoldelli gave each of his
teammates a (signed) pink jersey for their troubles.

I think this has been discussed before, but exactly how many "authentic"
maglia rosas does a stage or Giro win generate? We know about the
rear-zip presentation jersey, plus the next day's jersey worn in
competition, repeat ad nauseum, plus the pink skinsuits that are also
made available.

Do the stage winners and Tour/Giro/Vuelta winners also get an abundant
supply of, ahem, commemorative jerseys, suitable for framing, or
possibly use on club rides?

I know it makes me a big nerd for even caring about this stuff, but
surely there's a hierarchy of collectibility and cachet here: race-worn
jerseys and skinsuits at the top of the heap, followed by presentation
jerseys actually worn for several seconds by our hero, followed by
signed pink jerseys from Savoldelli's collection of dozens of
"authentic" jerseys?

Or do I have it all wrong?
