    Have purchased a Merida Crossway 8500 hybrid bike last Saturday at
    Parramatta, NSW, Australia for A$660.

    Had fitted front and rear lights, drink bottle holder and also bought a
    helmet, spare tube and they came up as $830.

    I have had a ride of it on the M2 from Pennant Hills Road to Vimiera
    Road, seems to be quite quick and goes up hill all right...the hill
    outside my house is quite steep and it got on not bad.

    Also had a ride to Epping from home at Beecroft, 15 mins, quicker than
    walking 35 mins even for a first timer!!
