  1. The USDA with its ridiculous new multi-pyramid scheme has demonstrated
    clearly what disarray they are in in light of the great success of the
    low-carb paradigm. They can no longer hide the fact that they are not
    interested in real nutrition and their high-carb/high-grain
    recommendations are what got the US population as fat as they are.

    Hurray for Dr. Atkins. The USDA-Goliath slayer.

    Yes. They've managed to give us an epidemic of heart disease and diabetes.

    dangerous because when there is no need for glucose converted from
    fructose and the glycogen stores are full, fructose is entirely
    converted to fat as opposed to glucose which are sirculated and made
    available for cells.
