Meatballs

Add meatballs to your favorite spaghetti sauce recipe about 30 minutes prior
to serving.
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese, or Italian blend (Parmesan &
Romano)
1 tablespoon parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Mix all ingredients. Shape mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls. (For easier
shaping, dip hands into cold water from time to time.) Place on ungreased
jelly roll pan or baking sheet approximately 15 x 10 x 1 inch. Cook
uncovered in 350 degree oven until light brown, 15 to 20 minutes.

from fat); 15g Protein; 8g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 72mg
