Text size
  1. meat balls or meat loaf

    1 1/2 lbs ground meat
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup apple sauce
1 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 medium size onion , chopped up finely.

put your eggs and onions in a blender and puree. Add to the ground
meat with the applesauce and mix well. Add the bread crumbs, mix well.
Depending on the texture, you might have to add a little more or a little
less bread crumbs. If makeing meatballs for spaghetti, drop golf ball
size or a little smaller raw into the boiling sauce and cook about 20 to
30 min. Do not stir for about 10 minutes until meat is partially cooked
and wont fall apart. To remove the grease from the top, turn off heat
and let grease rise to top and place a few paper towels on the top to
absorb the grease or use a spoon. This recipe also can be used to
make meat loaf. Make a loaf and put it in a loaf pan and add 1/2 cup of
water and cover with foil and bake for 45 min. Take foil off and bake for
15 min more. Or prepare the meat balls the way you always do.
