Spoke to a good chum from Hamilton this weekend about the 2003 worlds etc.
One subject that came up was the McMaster Cycling Centre. My friend, although not entirely sure, says the Centre is a no go. Hamilton lost the bid for the 2010 Commonwealth Games to New Delhi so no cycling centre.
Anyone have an update regarding the centre? I would be quite a shame to lose this, let alone any development project for cycling.

McMaster Cycling Centre is a go.
Neil Ross and John Holman run it.
They spend a lot of money.
What they do exactly is a question.
Ross was just at the PanAm Games.
A local rider in the area would be far better served riding with the St. Catharines Cycling Club than using the McMaster Cycling Centre.
Do I say that because Tim Lefebvre is a friend? Absolutely. He and Dan and the others out there can teach a young rider more in one ride than they will learn all summer at McMaster.
Neil Ross is gaining experience but if you're running a national cycling centre, I would have thought you had done your on-the-job-training elsewhere.

Even the link for it on the CCA web site (contacts, PDF file) is wrong. It takes you the Hamilton Cycling Club.
This is not surprising. Write the CCA and tell them, it would be a welcome change from me having to do it...
