McGee update

    There has been three legal issues arising from the incident at Kapunda Road in Dec 2003 that resulted in the death of a cyclist. First up, the initial court case:
    woj.com.aumcgee case

    Then the 2005 Kapunda Road Royal Commission stemming from the first case and public outcry over the sentencing.

    Then the planned contempt of court case, stemming from the findings of the Royal Commission:

    The McGees were attempting to stop the comtempt of court case, as you can read in the ABC article linked above.

    Now that has been dismissed, the McGees will (in due course) face a contempt of court case and face their day in court.
