  1. I just recently bought a Polar CS200 heart rate monitor. However it does not have the own index calculator or Maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) test. I Was wondering if anyone knows of a calculator of the VO2 and what it consists of.

    own index is a gimmick IMO as it is based on general population averages. VO2 Max requires a sports science laboratory to test. Something like this:

    a facility I have never seen / have nothing to do with but is along the lines of what's required.
