  1. I have decided to purchase either the Mavic Cosmos or Campagnolo Proton wheelsets?

Does anyone have a feedback on either of these two wheelsets?

    Any feedback would be appreciated!

  2. I have the Campy Protons, and have put about 350 miles on them. So far they're nice and true. Clearly light, and fragile-looking. They don't have the meaty and stiff look of Kysriums (whether they're genuinely so is another matter).

I can't detect a whole lot of difference among wheels. These seem to ride pretty well. Not harsh like I've heard many true deep aero wheels are. This seemed like a good choice for weight, value, and longevity (24 spokes).

  3. Got Campag protons after I broke a rim on mavic CXP 21s - very happy with them

Light, stiff & responsive - great for climbing

    cheers

  4. I use campy protons now...the roads here can be unforgiving w/potholes, glass, etc. My rear tire blew this weekend-hard and fast...these wheels were able to take it and stayed true!

Good luck, both are great wheels!
