I've had to replace the cartridge bearing's on a Mavic 571 rear hub, Unfortunately I left the thing dissasembled on a work surface and it attracted quite a few cat hairs which caused the rear pawls to get bunged up. Needless to say Ive cleaned it all up and the question is this. Ive basically soaked the whole shooting match with 15w40 oil, which created quite a mess, does this sound like an appropriate course of action? Or should I take the cluster off again and use some thin grease?
