I was just wondering if anyone had thoughts to share, good or bad on matrix aurora rims.
My LBS is recommending them instead of the Mavic CXP 33s I was initially looking at because they say they have bEen having an increasing number of problems wth Open Pro and CXP rims coming in for rebuilds, developing cracks and developing the infamous eyelet clicking.
I know that M.A. is part of the Trek/Bontrager Dynasty but I know nothing else.
Any information or experience anyone has to share wouldd be appreciated.

I have seen and heard similar problems with Matrix Aurora Rims. I think you should "cast a wider net" and consider Velocity, Ambrosio, and Torelli rims. Rider weight and initial build on wheels are the two biggest issues to be dealt with. Talk with some 5 digit riders (those riding 10,000 miles or more per year) and find out what they use.
