Back in the 1970s the nationals were held in Cherokee Park in Louisville. The park is by no means flat but does not include enough climbing to be a real test of the best. The park, designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, is a good spectator venue, however.
Masters Crit: Downtown Road race: Cherokee Park Short Course
I'm not old enough for all that, but does anybody know much about these courses? Is the Downtown crit a flat 4-corner deal or what?
