  1. For multi-day racing, can anyone offer advice as to what is the better option:

    1) Self-massage
    2) On of those electonic muscle pulse devices.

    This would be for the removal of lactate from the legs.

  2. A skilled masseur or masseuse can work wonders but there's still those who think that not having a massage doesn't effect actual athletic performance.

    Good post race nutrition and some stretching/easy ride before the start of the next days stage will go a long way to leaving your legs feeling fairly fresh before the hammer goes down on the second day.

    If you don't regularly get a massage then having one in between stages probably isn't a good time to start.

    I'd leave the electronic pulse doo-dahs to woman who seak solo pleasures...
