I have a Marzocchi All Mountain SL. On end of the left stanchion is a hole in which is the air valve. The manual shows a fitting and cap as does the hi res picture on the Marzocchi site.
The tech guy at Marzocchi insists that there is not supposed to be a cover for this hole and that nothing is missing from the fork. He says that if I am worried about dirt and moisture getting into the air valve I should put a cork in it (maybe a metaphor ;>😉.
Does your AM SL have a cover on the left fork end?

My 110-130 AMSL does not have a cover / plug on that side.
