Martha's Vineyard / Nantucket?

If you want to save some boat time, drive to Woods Hole and take the
ferry to MV about 45 min ride.about $9 with bike 1 way. The paths on
MV are wide sidewalks and well marked. You can ride the whole island
and end up at either ferry (Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven) which will
get you to Woods Hole. In Falmouth find Locust St and the parking lot
for the Shining Sea trail (3+ miles) that will take you to Woods Hole.
There is a nice place to eat right by the WH ferry. Take the CCRT to
Chatham, nice place to visit

FYI, we'll be staying in a timeshare on Cape Cod, so our trips to the
Vineyard and various islands will only be day trips. My wife is not a
serious rider, so we're looking at rides of maybe 20-25 miles round trip in
each place. Also, I am vegetarian, so if anybody knows any
vegetarian-friendly Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, or American
restaurants, please let me know.

Nantucket is smaller and flatter then MV. Both have excellent
bikeways that pretty much entirely cover each of the islands. With a
limit of 25 miles you could probably cover all of Nantucket, but not
MV in a single day. You can get the ferry for Nantucket in Hyannis.
They have both a high speed and regular ferries out of there. You can
get ferry fares/schedules information here.

They run ferries to both islands. Also I purchased a bike map (had
both road and bike trails) at the ferry terminal a couple years back
which had Nantucket on one side and MV on the other. You should ask
about it.
