Another question. I have some ideas already, as to what to
do for marketing. Things like introducing myself to local
doctors and other health care professionals, lots of
buisness cards, offering free 10-15 mini massages (haven't
figured out where yet) I have some free sites on the
internet to get some hits and referrals, and my professional
association (Ontario massage therapists association) has a
referral option on their site. I figure I'll deliver flyers,
and hopefully word of mouth.
Anyone have other suggestions that might work to start
marketing myself, getting myself known? I have a part time
position, and it can become full time, there is room, if I
get my but going. Just a note, I cannot offer discounts, or
package deals (one of the by laws of my regulatory college).
I realize that what works in one area may not work in
another, I am asking around to other collegues and other
people. However my collegues all graduated the same time I
did, so have as much experience as I do, and am just getting
to know others with more experience.
Any thoughts? Meaghan
