  1. The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink
what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not.
    - Mark Twain

    Modified Version....

The only way to keep your weight healthy is to eat less than you can, do
that horrid exercise and eat or drink those miserable vitamins.

    --
    1) Eat Till SATISFIED, Not STUFFED... Atkins repeated 9 times in the book
    2) Exercise: It's Non-Negotiable..... Chapter 22 title, Atkins book
    3) Don't Diet Without Supplimental Nutrients... Chapter 23 title, Atkins
    book
    4) A sensible eating plan, and follow it. (Atkins, Self Made or Other)

  2. I like Twain's version much better. 🙂

You can eat a ton of broccoli, but I doubt it would result in your gaining
weight and few would want to do it.

  3. I like Twain's version, too.

The irony of Life....it's the stuff that makes life FUN that kills
you....and if you quit smoking, drinking, eating goodies and chasing
women/men, yes, you WILL live longer....but is the life you've saved
    still worth living?

    Disagree.

Examples: Hot Wings are maybe my ultimate goody. I have consumed, since
starting my LC program, maybe 400 of them. Have lost 24.5 LBS in that
    period.

Chasing Women: Studies show that married people live longer and are
generally happier than those unmarried. I know that chasing women led
me to getting married, but I supposed getting married made me give up
chasing women (have to negotiate with DW on that), so maybe giving up
the chase in the right way.

Smoking Tobacco: No argument there. Somking cannabis: jury is still out
on that (as per Dr. Atkins, I'm not smoking any, but with more study
and a saner set of drug laws in my home country, I might be persuaded
    to after reaching goal).

Me, I think you can have you (cheese)cake and eat it, too. But mileage
    may vary.
