  1. I forgot about a steak I had marinading in my fridge for about 6 days.
    I had it sealed in a ziploc bag, is this too long to let it sit in the
    fridge without being cooked?

    I'd wash off the marinade and have a look. Marinades will cook the steak
    to the point of no return. If it falls apart, toss it. If it's green,
    toss it. Otherwise it'll probably be the best tasting steak you ever
    had.

    on the marinade and the refrig. temp.

    Do the "sniff test".

    Depends on the salinity/acidity of the marinade and the temperature of
    your fridge but if the steak was fresh six days ago it shoulld be fine.
