Hi all

I was thinking of changing my 92 muirwood for the new 2007 Marin bobcat. Can
anyone give me any idea of the weight as I can't seem to find it on the net

Cheers

If your budget is £450-ish (that's what the Bobcat seems to come in at)
consider the commencal combi disc hydro. Lovely light frame, a lockout on
the forks, hydraulic disc brakes. £500 but worth the extra. Oh, and the
weight of the Commencal? Just 12.6kg.

Thanks for the advise. That's very light considering it has front
suspension, almost the same as my Marin. What's the quality like as I have
never heard of them

Thanks

Glenn

The quality seems good. Commencal make bikes costing a few thousand
pounds, so they no how to do things properly. The only bad thing I've
heard about the bike is that the fork could be better, but that's what said
about every bike in that price range.

Commencal? French mainstream manufacturer, perfectly adequate quality.
