Does anyone know anything about this frame? Im trying to
find a decent frame to start with my bike build, something
around $1000. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Would this be the same Marin as in "Moon Over Marin"
by the DK's?Peace, Bill The mind serves properly as a window glass

Do you mean the Attack Trail? I built up this frame several
monthes ago. For me it is a Cross Country bike because I
weigh 220. One thing I find different from my old Marin Mt.
Vision is the new setup on this bike is very bouncing when
standing on the pedals, but then it is a four bar suspension
and that problem is solved with lockouts my fork and rear
suspension. The frame has definitely increased my speeds going downhill
on the rough stuff, but I feel I owe a lot of the credit for
this to my Marzocchi Z 1 Freeride fork.So far I really like the frame, but wish they had used
bearings instead of bushings in the rear suspension mounts.
I was also surprised when I found out I could only mount
disc brakes on the frame.I also, ended up with a frame an inch larger than I ordered,
but you know what, it was a blessing in disguise because now
I am getting over some bigger logs that were problem for me
before. There is a noticeable feeling of being top heavy at
times, but it seems to confine itself to be felt and not so
much of a performance issue. Maybe it would be more of an
issue if I was into some radical cornering.Chris said:
