Many riders bring a stationary trainer to races to warm up,
especially when warming up on the road is not allowed
(common in US amateur races with road access permission
problems). They also bring a helmet because it's required
during the race (depending on the country).
If you're just riding the trainer in your basement you don't
need a bag to transport it anyway.
