  1. I'm planning a route from Southampton to Cardiff, via Bristol in a couple of weeks. I know it's been
mentioned on here before, but which maps do people recommend for cycling (ie, showing relief, etc).
    Are there any specialist ones?

    TIA

I use a Ordnance Survey based 3 miles to one inch road atlas and tear out the pages I need for my
ride. I bought a 2004 edition from one of the cheap book shops for £4. For road use these are
    usually adequate.
