  1. anyone else here get pulled over to take part in this yesterday?

They were asking about purpose of journey, why making journey by bike,
cycling facilities at work, best/worst junctions, what would make you
cycle more, that kind of thing. I wish I'd've had more time to think
about my answers, but I was in a rush to get through it and still make
    it to school for home-time.

I don't know if 'they' were from the Council or the DoT or someone
    else

I saw my local council try one of these once. Of course they picked
the middle of a long climb to do this and appeared to be most upset
that few cyclists stopped for them. Had they any idea about cycling
they would have picked a better location.

I will always explain revoked keys, unless the UK government
prevents me using the RIP Act 2000.

No I didn't. However last summer I did get given a form for a traffic
census that was taking place where the A road from the end of the M56
crosses the main road through Northenden. This is a real snarl up point.
The leaflet explained that the data was being collected for a 24 hour
period. I was pootling through at about 7pm on a summer evening. I do
wonder what someone made of my answers - start of journey Didsbury, end of
journey about 1km distant also in Didsbury, elapsed time of journey 1 hour
30 minutes and distance traveled 15 miles.
