  1. Hello, Can anyone here tell me where I can find the red grease made by Makt?
It is brilliant stuff but I cannot find a new tub anywhere.

    John.

Unfortunately Makt went bust a number of years ago.

It was a fairly generic grease though which was rebranded by a few other
people. I'd guess, that it's identical to OYB2 bearing grease from SK22
    - see http://www.sk22.co.uk/

If you don't get any luck with that, Silkolene do a really good grease
for motorbike bearings which most motorbike shops will sell. It's
usually a lot cheaper than bike specific grease.

  4. Hello and thank you for this info. I used the Red Makt grease regularly and
was very happy and impressed with it. Never mind I shall hunt down another
similar grease. It must be thick sticky and long lasting of course!
    John.

    Indeed it is.

Just thought I'd check out some old haunts as it's just past my tenth
anniversary on usenet. I had more hair then (at least on my head anyway)
    and was somewhat slimmer. ;-)
