Maestro UK - Feedback Please

I bought a C40 from Mike and had great experience. Mike replied quickly to
all of my e-mails, and gave me a phone call to finalize my selection of
frame and sizing. I did order a non-standard paint job, so I did wait about
3 months while the bike went to the paint shop. This delay was Colnago's,
and not Mikes. When the frame came into his shop, we finalized the component
selection and the bike was shipped the next day. Freight time was 2 days as
he uses DHL air frieght.

Talking to Mike is quite an experience, he is quite knowledgable of cycling,
and we ended up talking about the recent Paris-Roubaix for about 20 minutes
(his nickle for the call).

Overall, my impression was very positive and I would reccomend him.

I had a good experience. warranty issues probably couldnt be handled
in US through distributor.

Good shop but they have been known to be a bit moody if you just go in
to drool over the stock 🙂 They have a good reputation in the UK.

Two customers bought their framesets there and we built them. Both said the
'experience' was a good one. Warranty would be thru Maestro, not Trialtir(US
distributor), who continues to decribe Maestro as 'grey market', altho it is
legit, like so many Colnago dealers in Europe.
