  1. I went out for a spin at lunchtime. What a lovely day.

The Rapha jersey copes admirably with the new size Guardian,
plus six fresh figs from Lidl.
My local branch is doing a half price fruit+veg promotion,
you can't beat 14p lovely figs with homemade marmalade.

Oooh, sounds good, especially the homemade marmalade bit.
My local Lidl can be a bit shabby over these half price fruit n' veg
promo's. They put generally put up new signs showing an increased
price, cross that out and put a half price underneath that. It's a
discount, but it's not half the stores normal price. I expect that's
    illegal. *shrug*

I reckon I can beat your 14p figs though, my local indian supermarket
is doing peaches the size of your head, 5 for a quid. I've got half of
one spread across my chin right now *licks lips*

For a pound you can buy enough fresh leafy coriander to camouflage an
entire infantry regiment. Ten kilo sack of onions £1.49, 6 tins of
chickpeas for a pound. They practically give fresh garlic, ginger and
chillis away for free, the bargains go on and on...

And to bring us back on topic, everything on that list, and plenty
more besides, came home with me on the back of my bike this lunchtime.
I have *got* to order that new EBC trailer soon.
