  1. Light Rail Transit has come to part of Minneapolis.
Yesterday niece Patty and I took it to the Twins game and
back (only part way on the south end). This morning Rob and
I went down and back with an intervening stop at D'Amico &
Sons Gaviidae location -- he had a tuna salad sandwich (I
believe it's the first time I've ever seen him eat one in 38
years -- he says it wasn't the first time) and I had a
grilled chicken sandwich with some caramelized onions under
the shicken and sliced tomatoes, fresh mozz, and lettuce on
top of it. And a bag of chips.. Tasty enough. We were down
and back in two hours. I may start shopping downtown again
    for that $1.25 fare.

Very cool, I enjoy riding that kinda transit. And the price
    is not bad at all.

But did she ever return, no she never returned and her fate
is still unlearned. She may ride forever 'neath the streets
of B......oops sorry, wrong city, wrong transit system.

Sounds like you had a nice afternoon.

Sidenote about your neck of the woods, Barb. I rented the
sweet movie "Love Actually" and one vignette in there is
about a jolly englishman landing in

american girls he *knew* he'd find there (in quantity,
as the story progresses, lol) Just made me think of
    you 🙂 Goomba
