  1. I've been having major hot flashes all day - is this an effect of low carb
    that anyone has ever experienced or heard of? I'm WAY to young for it to be
    anything else (I think!)

    I only have hot flashes when I eat something carb-heavy. But you just
    started, right? So you wouldn't be eating anything carby. Hmm.

    How old are you? Perimenopause can start around 40. Have you had your
    thyroid levels checked lately?
