  1. I went to a road bike last month; mainly because I found a Centurion Arccordo RS for $20.00. I can take it apart and put it back together.

But I am lost with what to call some of those parts. I know what the crank is and a few of the others but when talking about group sets and such I'm lost.

Where can I find a Good book that explanes the terminology and advantages and disadvantages of the combinations of gears wheels hubs, frames (aluminun, composit or steel) somthing that will give me sound basics.

  2. Sheldon Brown, see glossary, etc.. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/articles.html

  3. I spent a couple hours on the Seldon Brown articles, thanks your tip is apprecited.
