  1. i have been doing quite a few sprints this summer and it feels like i have lost my initial "snap" or explosive jump at the start of the sprint. my peak watts are still within 50 watts of my personal bests, but i feel i have almost completely lost the explosion i once had. i get out of the saddle to go and i feel like i am just pushing hard on the pedals, not exploding into them. i have not done a lot of intense training such as LT and VO2max work, just lots of sprints the past 2 months. i started a job 4 weeks ago that requires me to walk the whole day (8hrs, with breaks), so i think this might have something to do with it.

or do i just need to lay off the sprinting for a few weeks?
