HAHHH!!! FOUND IT!!!!

My housemates just got a cat. A kitten, really. And what I have is an
iPod Shuffle, with a lanyard that you wear around your neck.

I found the iPod dragged under a couch, in exactly the place where
the cat typically hides. I think it dragged it under there so it could
finish it off and disembowel it or something.... :-)

Did you register it? Does it have your user info on it?

We found one in a mall store dressing room last winter and took it to
the Apple store to check the registration so they could notify the
owner. Then we went to the mall security office to tell them we had it
and gave our phone number to them to share with the owner if she showed
up. She did, and got it back that night from us.
