I don't know anything about bikes so thought I would come here for some help! I have ridden around on a hybrid bicycle and quite like the feel but not the price of brand new. I found a used bicycle for sale online, it is a GT Slipstream Hybrid Cruiser Bicycle and this is the description : 21 speed 700c wheels. Recent overhaul included new tubes and tires, brake and derailleur cables, chain and grips. Sram grip shifters and Shimano altus/acera drivetrain. Will fit someone up to 5'10".
The seller is asking 230$ OBO is this a resonable price?
I'm not sure it would be worth $200 if it was in perfect condition, but I better let some other folks comment about that.
You really need to know what size bike is the right size for you, and then buy a bike that size. Buying a bike that fits "anyone up to 5'10" isn't the way to go....
