  1. I've recently fitted continental vapors to my hardtail and they seem to be decent tyres. But I'm beginning to think I should get some tyres with more air volume and cushioning seeing as though it's a hardtail.. Has anyone tried any of the following tyres?

    Panaracer Fire XC Pro
Continental gravity (2.3 version of vapors).
    Specialized Enduro Pro
    Nokian NBX Lite
or any other grippy and light tyres???

I know it's asking the impossible but i'm looking for a good all round tyre - I don't compete or anything, just basically mess about on the damp forest singletrack at the weekends, and once a month ride 20-30 mile trail on mixed terrain. I don't ride the think gloop though..... I like to keep my bike shiny! lol.

I used to swear by continental verticals as the perfect all rounder... but there just isn't enough clearance on my new bike.

Anyway, as always... any opinions are valued!
