I just had my 2002 Trek 6000 stolen, and am looking to replace it. Unfortunately, the newer 6500 is a little pricy for me at this time. Are there any suggestions for a less expensive alternative? I was looking at Giant, but I have only ever owned Trek bikes...Any help would be appreciated.

I've been riding Giant bikes since '98 and I like them a lot, aluminum, carbon, aluminum with carbon you name it, I think it's a good choice ....
