  1. I'm looking for a bike that isn't full size that has plenty of space to put stuff like groceries. I like the look of this bike:

    store6.yimg.commomovelo 1789 1836867

it's the right size and it's got space for stuff. But it costs $800... is there anything like this that I can get in the states that doesn't cost so much? Thanks. 🙂

  2. I'm sorry, but that bike does not inspire me one bit! It seems so far removed from what I think of a s a bike, both functionaly and aesthetically. It ain't pretty, pal. ;-)

I do a lot of hauling and toting and commuting. Carry groceries, hardware, clothing, computer stuff, work stuff, kids. A good, sturdy bike with saddle bags and a basket can do what you want without making you look like a yuppy on the latest contraption (that is the word that I find describes the photo best). And a bike has to be a pleasure to ride, which prospects look dubious with the model you're looking at.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh here, but you did ask...

    S

Edited to ask why you need to get a compact bike (is it folding?), and if that is really so important. If you possibly can. I have bike storage space problems too, but I noticed that even a large children's bike requires nearly as much space in the garage, really, as an adult model. So I'm skeptical as to whether shaving off a couple of inches here and there will really help.

  3. I agree wiith less'go, the bike looks unreal. Looks like it dosen't have enough speeds (one chainring) and the wheels look a little too small, unless you like to spin at 90 RPM at all times. I would go with a mountain bike or a cross bike and just add rear trunk or the basket up front. My advice is don't get this one unless your heart is already set on it. Good luck
