Hello Cycling Fans,
I am doing research on sports fans in a variety of cultures and sports. I am looking for the most passionate fans around. People who have a favorite athlete or team and follow them at every competition. I was wondering if this existed in cycling? Does anyone here know anyone who is a die hard cycling fanatic? Someone who follows their favorite rider, or team, perhaps from small races to the Tour? Someone who is the cycling version of John "Big Dawg" Thompson for the Cleveland Browns, or a member of Raider Nation. I would love to hear their stories.
