I dialled mine all the way in the direction of the "-" sign and there is definitely less tension (or else I'm really getting the hang of this unclipping thing).

Yeah, I tried turning to "=" sign and there is definitely less tension. Mine has adjustable float as well which if adjusted to the strongest or weakest settings can confuse things a little.
