Are you sure about that (when used with standard Look pedals)? Some sources say 9 degrees, others
say 5. Is it mentioned on the Look website (which is down at the moment)?

No, it's 0-9 with red cleats (which are supplied as standard). I've been told it's also 0-9 with
black cleats but with the dial working in reverse, but I'm not sure that's true.

It is if you get more float, or you want to experiment with different amounts of float, or you like
the models for other reasons.
I've got PP396's. I like the '9' setting and wouldn't want any less now. Not too impressed with
the other settings: they just seem to make the float feel stiffer rather than properly restricting
the angle.
