  1. Hi all
On my Winter bike I have a pair of approx 8-10 years old original look pedals. I am pretty sure that they need a regrease in the bearings as they are becoming stiff to turn and a bit rough and dry feeling on the spindles.
The type I have has a circular end cap approx 20mm in dia with small circular holes around the circumference of the end cap. I was wondering how this is removed is it a prise off cap or a screw in cap ? And is there a special tool ? Or can I make do with something else.
As I said this is my winter bike that gets abused, therefore it doesnt need to be perfect just need to get the pedals functional, before a I put my spare keo carbons on the bike !
