  1. Came back just at dusk tonight from a great ride. We were riding through some grass so as to stay
off the highway when I felt the front right wheel act a little "funny". At first I thought it was a
flat, but it didn't appear to be, it was dark enough that I couldn't see anything else.

Drove a little further and heard a loud "clunk" against the spokes. The front right tie rod had
apperently lost it's bolt. Did a little looking and couldn't find it. I told my wife we could simply
milk it home slowly. I figured I would steer as best as I could with my hand.

What was SO cool was, because of the inertia, forces, and what have you, the front right tire stayed
in unison. I knew it would somewhat, but it was as if there was still a tie rod connected. If I made
even the slightest turn, the right tire turned pretty much at exactly the same time and degree.
Which led my wife to ask, why even bother with the thing ;-)
