  1. Hello,

Does anyone have experience with the Look Ergo Stem? I have seen contrasting specs for the length
options this stem is able to achieve. Some of the descriptions of the 03 HSC model claim that this
stem is adjustable from 0MM to 150MM others say 80MM to 150MM. Anyone know for sure?

How would this stem get 0MM reach? Does it fold back on top of the steerer?

  2. I just purchased a Look Ergo stem today--it looks like you can actually configure the stem to have
the bars *behind* the steerer tube, if one is so inclined....

Zero or even less than zero reach is possible, but not with zero rise as well - that's where the
    80mm figure comes from.

Yes. The ahead version can even be fitted upside down and/or back to front if desired; even the
front or rear elements can be assembled upside down with rest normal, so many kinds of weird
positions are possible. However, excess steerer (above stem) getting in the way, required rise and
other factors will limit what is possible or sensible in practice. Still, comparitively very short
(and long) reaches are usually manageable.

  4. Thanks for the reply.

Behind the steerer eh? That is some impressive ingenuity & engineering.
