  1. Hey all,

Just scored an old pair of DA 7401 pedals for $15 and now I need some cleats. I notice the imitations are easier to find and cheaper than the genuine Look models. Does it make much of a difference? I bought some nice shoes since I've been told that's the smart place to spend money in this category.

  2. I bought some other brand in red and they are the same thing. I believe the lbs had a couple different brands but didn't carry the look brand.

  3. I use both look delta compatible and look delta genuine (two pairs of shoes). Both will do the job well. The genuine ones are a fraction better as they have special surfaces on the contact points, however I wouldn't bother changing from compatibles to genuines just for that.

You can get the genuine ones quite cheap mail order, I got mine from probikekit.

  4. Does anyone know which style of cleats the old Dura Ace PD7401 pedals use? Should I get the Delta or Arc ones?

  5. They look like Look Delta

    Perhaps someone could confirm
