  1. Hey everyone,

So, I'm in the market for a new bike, and I have narrowed it down to the Look 565 and Orbea Opal. I've done my research and what not, but am inquiring to see if anyone has had some personal experiences with either of these bikes...

    Thanks,

No long trek dedicated in a few weeks...

  2. I have a LOOK KG381i from a few years ago. I absolutely love it and my next frame will also be from LOOK. Havent got a single thing to say against it and cant wait - possibly next year or the year after - to go for another, although I honestly have absolutely no reason to do so right now, as the 381i is still in perfect shape and serves me well.

All that said, I cant say I have experience with the 565, only the manufacturer. Hopefully someone will come along and chime in with specific info on both frames you look at. Best of luck and enjoy your new frame, whichever way you go.

  3. The Opal is a light, really stiff bike great for hills. I have not tried the Look but if you ride a lot of hills or just want a stiff bike the Opal is great.

I'm def. looking for a stiff bike. I am a sprinter and usually make my 'killing' in the last thrust of a race. Plus, I love knowing almost all the power I put into the pedals is going into the road, and not into the bike.
